Duflex is a specially designed system of machine boring bits with interchangeable shanks that combines the advantages of brazed tips and adjustable turnover blade tools.
The complete system comprises boring heads with, or without, exchangeable scribes; a wide range of interchangeable shanks to fit most chucks and standard, or special, solid tungsten carbide blades in a variety of forms for diameters between 15 and 40 mm.
Duflex offers tremendous versatility, yet requires a minimum investment. With even a small quantity of tools a broad range of hole diameters can be covered. Whether for use in an electric power drill boring free hand holes in softwood or for machining laminated man made board in a CNC multi - boring machine, Duflex meets the requirement.

With only 3 sizes of boring head, diameters between 15 and 40 mm are possible. No more re-sharpening, blade changing is more economic and gives perfect hole sizes every time. Adjustable scribes on diameters over 23 mm allow for the machining of intermediate dimensions, higher feed speeds and very accurate free hand boring. For example: with a 35 mm diameter insert in a boring head with exchangeable scribes and with the four special gauges - diameters 35.2 mm, 35.5 mm, 35.8 mm and 36 mm can be bored with the same tool.
