Spindle Moulder Tooling

A versatile range of tooling for profiling, jointing and rebating on small to medium sized spindle moulders. A standard range of cutterheads in aluminium alloy and steel can be fitted with over 130 different 40 mm tool steel profiles for machining soft and hardwoods. Cutterheads are available with limitor plates, for hand fed machines and without limitor plates, for mechanically fed machinery. Each profile knife has its' own corresponding limitor plate. Limitors significantly reduce the risk of workpiece kickback and where the cutterheads conform to the German Association of Woodworkers guidelines on tooling safety, they are marked with the BG - TEST symbol. New - We have recently added two new larger diameter cutterheads and a complimentary range of 50 mm profile knives and limitor plates. These larger blocks will also take the complete range of 40 mm knives and limitors, making it possible to machine a total of 180 different profiles.

For man made boards and applications where a harder wearing tool is needed, the following cutterheads are available with tungsten carbide inserts :-
